We were having dinner last evening, my friend Sunny and I and we talked about the blessings of having a life of Mosaics. I had really never thought about my life in that way but she is completely correct.
The professional and personal opportunities that I am involved with is astounding and my work changes lives, daily. As a Professor of Law, I meet the next generation of hard-working, committed college students who will make profound changes in this world.
As a new Literacy Specialist at a school that offers a second chance to girls who have had home lives that are filled with abuse, neglect and abandonment. The staff that I work with are a dedicated group of highly-intelligent professionals and we see change and empowerment daily.
As a Vocalist with extremely talented musicians life's dreams take on the reality of performing on stage with the finest. To be able to sing professionally is pure joy.
As a Harpist, training with the finest Philharmonic Principal Harpist, lessons are filled with constant challenge and achievement.
As a Music and Art Teacher I have the privilege of teaching students who are deaf and who have various other exceptionalities. To bring the joy of Dance and Voice and Art to these students is an incredible experience.
As the Author of, 'Yes I Can" it is thrilling to know that my little book means something to those who purchase it and it serves as an affirmation to my students, at all levels, that "Yes They Can".
Life presents so many joys to those who reach out and experience the challenges. I am blessed and very grateful for this Mosaic.
