Yes I Can / International ~ Sienna, Italy

My courses now, at Florida Gulf Coast University include a COIL Connection with The University of Sienna, Italy.

COIL Connection means: Collaborative Online International Learning. It is a distinct pleasure to now be connected with The University of Sienna, Italy!

The Yes I Can Humanities Course now has three sections, two in the evenings and now this new COIL Connection Section in the morning to allow for the time difference in Italy. The Professor who I will be collaborating with represents the Political Science Department also has a law degree and we examine similar issues in our classes such as Human Rights, Exceptionalities, Marginalized Populations. We will have fifty students (twenty five from both the United States Class and twenty five from the Sienna Class) who will be sharing modules from my course.

We will be sharing group activities, creative blog collaborations, service learning cooperation and final student presentations.

This is such an honor and privilege and will allow students in both countries to 'travel' despite Covid-19!
